The ''Snowglobe'' is an cursed item sold to the player by [[Murgo]] during the [[See the Future]] [[Fable II Downloadable Content|DLC]]. It contains the town of [[Oakvale]], before being destroyed by [[Reaver]] and the [[Shadow Court]]. They town is is missing all it's colour, and is under attack by [[Shadows]]. These [[Shadows]] are not lie the shadows you see elsewhere in Albion. These are color coded. So you have to use melee to destroy the blue ones, ranged to destroy the yellow ones and Will to destroy the red ones. As you destroy these shadow more and more of the colour return to [[Oakvale]]. When activated it starts the quest [[The Snowglobe (Quest)]].

Griffins are mythical creatures in the folklore of Albion that resemble lions with the wings and heads of an eagle. They are never seen in the Fable games since they no longer exist. The only description of them is found with the Griffin Back Tattoo. According to the description, the griffins existed long before the Old Kingdom but they were hunted and killed by humans for unknown reasons, possibly for sport like Dragons. Whether the tale is true or not is unknown.
