Welcome! Edit

Welcome to Fable Answers, WikiaWizard. Thanks for contributing to Where do I buy a wedding ring in fable 3! I hope you join in and ask or answer some more questions. You can find the new questions on the ActivityFeed page. Why not edit your profile and tell us more about yourself?

Please remember to tag questions you ask or answer with the game they are about and any other useful categories to help people find them more easily.

If you need any help, have a look at Help:Wikianswers. -- Enodoc (Talk) 14:21, 14 May 2011

Hi there, nice to see you again on Fable Answers! I have a few points for you to help in your answering of questions:

  • Articles on the main wiki can be directly linked with the {{Fable}} template: just use {{Fable|Article name|text to display}} in the answer
  • The "Answered questions" and "Un-answered questions" tags are automatic, and don't need to be added to the questions
  • Some 'questions' are actually just statements, and therefore can't be answered. These can either be marked for deletion using the {{Delete|Not a question}} template or redirected to Why was my question redirected here
    • Some of the 'questions', such as Road to rule, have a similar name to an article on the wiki. These can be redirected to the wiki article with
SOFT REDIRECT → {{Fable|Article name}}
  • There are two classes of redirects; hard and soft. Hard redirects are the ones that look like #REDIRECT [[]] and soft redirects are the ones that look like SOFT REDIRECT → {{Fable|}}. Hard redirects should not have any tags/categories, as this can mess up the category pages by making them think there are more questions/answers than there actually are. Soft redirects can be tagged normally, and can also be tagged with ~Redirects.

Let me know if you have any questions.     :)

Hi there Enodoc! Thanks for the tips - I researched some of them myself but this has cleared up some of questions I was thinking about. I'll be sure to keep these points you mentioned in mind when I'm editing from now on and I apologise for any confusion or extra work I may have caused.

Thanks again for the help and I'll be sure to ask you questions if I'm having any trouble =] WikiaWizard 15:58, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

A response to your response Edit

That's just what I needed. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I just thought since both you and I were both fielding questions here that we could maintain some continuity if we did things the same way. As you noticed, I tend to direct people to the wiki articles as I feel they should take the time to read and learn the answer for themselves, but there are times when the most direct answer is already covered well here and a hard redirect is preferable. Congratulations on your promotion. Well earned and well deserved. Should I ever join you (No hurry E) we'll have to drink a toast. Garry Damrau(talk) 07:26, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Hey, it was not problem at all GD. I'm just happy that I could be of assistance to you. Yes, I have noticed that you have been helping Enodoc with Fable Wiki Answers for some time now. For that, I would like to thank you for all the help in organising questions and improving the site (from your post in the forums). It seems like the mountain of questions coming in has slowed now and we're finally able to tidy some things up. Yes, I have noticed that you tend to direct people to the wiki - it's usually the best idea for question phrased exaclty like the article page. Thank you for the praise, the Fable Wiki is the first I've ever worked on so I'm very thankful to Enodoc for the Rollback rights. I'm sure that in due time GD you'll recieve them too for all the great work you have done here and on the Main Wiki. WikiaWizard 18:31, January 7, 2012 (UTC)

Now is your chance to thank me. Visit the nomination page and give your honest opinion. I think you know that I really don't need my ego stroked but I feel that I am ready for some kind of promotion.Garry Damrau(talk) 08:07, February 12, 2012 (UTC)Feel like chattingGarry Damrau(talk)

Thanks for the advice on the nomination. And also thanks for putting my question, about the "fetch" differences between Fable II and Fable III, to rest. When I posed that question, I was new here and I suppose I was a little bit egotistical about showing off my knowledge about F2 and F3. Glad I got over that. The editors here at Fable Answers (You and Azaelia especially) are really making great progress toward clearing the slate before Fable: The Journey comes out. I haven't had the time to get the base prices for Fable III furniture as I have recently upgraded to the Xbox with 250 gig and Wi-Fi capability. I was so pleased to learn that I can now enjoy the on-line additions to F2 and F3 without a physical internet connection. It is like I have 2 new games to play. (And my dog likes it too)Garry Damrau(talk) 08:07, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

No problem there GD, happy to help. Yes, I did see that question. It's quite a tough one as it's something that I think only Lionhead Studios can answer for. Thank you for the praise but you have also made many contribution here yourself. It's always appreciated and now all that work is showing through as you have already mentioned. It's not problem about the prices quite yet. As a matter of fact I've been trying to work on cleaning up and adding onto that article for some time now but I haven't quite found a way of doing that yet. I might get around to it soon but anything you can contribute to it will be of great help. Congratulations on the transition to the New Xbox 360. I hope that you're enjoying the renewing features in your games. WikiaWizard 14:31, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

It's funny you would say renewing features. At first I was not happy that I could no longer use the item duplication technique but since my game is not freezing as much and all of my people (F2 and F3) now have new weapons and the F3 ones can all change their dogs, it is worth it. Congratz on reaching 1000 edits on Answers but let's stop with the congratz and get to work. YEAH.Garry Damrau(talk) 14:47, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

Well said - time to work and praise another time. I'm glad that it has all been worth the effort in the end :) WikiaWizard 01:31, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

I was looking in my rear view mirror to see you catching up to me and lo and behold Azaelia passed us both on the right. LOL Garry Damrau(talk) 11:15, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

I got the prices for the Fable III furniture and added them to the article. Funny thing is they are exactly 50% greater than Fable II's prices.Garry Damrau(talk) 11:18, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, yes indeed GD. It seems that whislt we have both been busy editing and catching up to each on the highway Azaelia has raced past in the fast lane. Thank you for the prices for the Furniture from Fable III. The 50% more pricer aspect is quite an interesting fact there. Possibly the econemy bettered during the reign of the last King/Queen? Well it seems now that my only questions are should we include the new items found in Fable III and/or should we create a new page for them altogether (Furniture (Fable III))? WikiaWizard 16:36, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

I think just an additional section of miscellaneous furniture for Fable III only would be fine. There is not enough for a whole new page.Garry Damrau(talk) 06:34, February 22, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'll try to add to it and work on the article now. WikiaWizard 21:33, February 22, 2012 (UTC)

I have the list from the Brady Games Strategy Guide and it pretty much has every item listed. I will put them in within a day or two. I don't think we have to say small rug and large rug and decorative rug as the prices don't matter. P.S. I think it best we use the singular term for the furniture items, after all you change one at a time, not like a "pair" of pants. P.S. Would you back me as a Rollback to Enodoc? I think he's not sure what to do. I should have just asked for Rollback rights on his talk page but once I put ADMIN out there he had to let it take it's course. My bad anyway.Garry Damrau(talk) 13:28, February 25, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, ok. Well it's a good place to source some of the information for the games but we must be aware that not all the information there is completely accurate to what is in the game (region differences, changes and updates etc.). I believe that you have already put them on the article now. Yes, I agree that the singular term would be better. P.S As a response to your question I will glady back you for Rollback if you choose to ask Enodoc. I understand that there was some discussions over the Admin Nomination you placed in the past but I see that Enodoc has sorted it now. It was not a bad thing to request adminship but maybe it was a little early yet. So, if you need me just leave a comment here on my talk page. Good Luck with it GD WikiaWizard 21:36, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

F.Y.I. Edit

You may know by the time you read this but, my internet access has taken a recent hit. I will not be requesting rollback status until this is resolved. Rest assured that in a world that has "too many chiefs and not enough indians", I will still be the best damn "little indian" you ever saw. You could, if you want, add the word "Hairstyle" to the displayed text of the table as well as the list. Thanks for carrying the torch while I'm down.Garry Damrau(talk) 18:18, March 5, 2012 (UTC)

Hello GD. Well, if that is the case then I hope that you have your internet working soon. I do believe that you work hard and spend a great deal of time here and at the other Wikis trying to improve where you see it could be. Unfortunately I am unsure which article or table you are referring to about adding the word "Haristyle". You are welcome GD. It is a pleasure to work and support all those that are here. WikiaWizard 18:34, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
I'm back, "Sorta". I have a new access to to the web but am limited in the ammount of time I can spend here. I will find the Hairstyle table of which I refered and edit as time permits. I am enjoying the many DLC perks of Fable III and will be replaying Fable II a bit also. I can now say I have 60 of 60 Fable III achievements. Enodoc can verify that if you have any doubt. LOL Be good.Garry Damrau(talk) 14:58, March 23, 2012 (UTC)
It seems that I have been away for sometime also. It is good to hear that you are back but a shame for them to be such short trips. That is fine and I will find your work in due time. I hope that you continue to enjoy the DLCs and new Hero saves on both Fable II and III. I believe that you have all the achievements in Fable III from your extensive understanding and knowledge of the game. I will now resume jumping between the Wikis and will see you around there. WikiaWizard 17:17, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Help Please? Edit

hey wikiawizard can you help me? Tense26 17:57, July 3, 2012 (UTC)

Hello there Tense26! How can I help you? WikiaWizard 18:01, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
in fable 1 tlc is it possible to take people from witchwood/knothole galde to somewhere like bowersouth or hook coast?
Tense26 18:25, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
I believe so. What do you think is stopping you from travelling? WikiaWizard 18:40, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
You could look at the Hook Coast aticle for more help on this. But, seeing as you have to use a cullis gate it may not be possible to travel with someone. You could try using the Follow expression to your wife then activating the Cullis Gate. Hope that helps but if you have any questions or someone who may know more about this, please feel free to contact the Admin here.

IE on my Xbox WOW Edit

Yes WW it is possible for two females to have children together in Fable II. Also they cannot select protected sex unless a male in invited to join or following. I don't believe two men can but I have tried with no success.Garry Damrau(talk) 08:52, October 24, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for coming out of retirement to answer my question. I usually only buy the properties that are vacant, to live in, as I fancy myself as a truely 'good' hero. That's right before I change the gender of a flirty NPC in order to marry them. Waa Haa Haa. -Garry Damrau(talk) 18:50, March 31, 2013 (UTC)

Haha! I'm not retired my friend! It's not a problem, I too think of myself as a "true hero" and only take the vacant houses or reside behind the Oakfield Demon Door whilst in Fable II. But I have to admit that I have been away from the Wiki for quite some time now. I have to apologise for my absence (exams were coming up in January and I've just been on a break from it all since) but hopefully I'll start becoming a more regular customer once again :)
P.S Cunning and slightly devious... LOL --WikiaWizard (talk) 18:15, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

HELP! Edit

With the offering of Fable III for free, we a being bombarded with questions from new players. If you could find the time I could use your help. (You too Azaelia, if you read this.) Garry Damrau(talk) 14:40, June 16, 2013 (UTC)

Wait, Fable III is now free? Hmmm, I see. Well then, a call to arms! Hahaha. Ok, now I've said that I can say that I am back! Hope that maintaining this place while I've been gone hasn't been too hard. My exams and the such are finished and so I should be here more regularly. I did tidy some things up recently but I wasn't signed in so I don't think that you would've noticed :P
Anyway I guess that without further a do... :)
WikiaWizard (talk) 14:51, June 17, 2013 (UTC)
Funny thing is that I did notice your style and wondered why you weren't logged in. I've been answering about 20-30 per day and still can't keep up. Now's your chance to pass Solar Dragon. Garry Damrau(talk) 10:47, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
Haha! Then I guess that I do have a certain way of speaking then ;) The reason as to why I wasn't logged on was because I was on a tablet and it would be a bit too clumsy to handle (small screen and so on). Wow, I had not realised the scale of this till I have seen the number of questions arriving today. I was only here a few days ago. Actually that is quite the tall order but here I go... WikiaWizard (talk) 22:09, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

There is a very good list of what gifts are sold where in Fable III, here.-Garry Damrau(talk) 03:44, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks GD. There is something that I noticed though. In the secret library (the end location for the quest An Ancient Key) there a number of broken bookcases which all seem to contain just about every type of toy in the game. Do you reckon that this is something useful we should mention on the respective page (if there is such a thing)? WikiaWizard (talk) 19:31, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

Not really, I think if people don't search furniture they won't try that anyway. BTW Thanks for that answers marathon. You know how stupid questions bother me. Here is something you will enjoy.Garry Damrau(talk) 12:29, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

That is a good point but it seems that the questions are coming in slower now and we even seem to have a few good anonymous answer-ers now :P No problems, always ready and glad to help.

Awesome picture! WikiaWizard (talk) 22:47, June 30, 2013 (UTC)

New Section Edit

Hey there WW. I can't wait till July when all of Xbox GOLD members start getting their free downloads that were promised at E3. Maybe then we will get a repreive. I'll be in Chat if you want to chat.ChitownCooperator (talk) 22:42, June 30, 2013 (UTC)

Haha! Very true indeed. I think that things will slow down again until Fable Anniversary comes along... Then the questions will start rolling in again with a vengence. I think that'll I'll have to get the game and increase my current Fable knowledge to deal with the (very probable) influx of questions in the future. WikiaWizard (talk) 22:55, June 30, 2013 (UTC)

Now is the time.... Edit

With Fable Anniversary just around the corner, it's time to step up to the plate. I would like to ask you if you would like to join me in volunteering to be an administrator here on Fable Answers. For too long now Enodoc has borne the burden of the mundane tasks that we can help him with. Personally, I would greatly appreciate your experience and knowledge to keep things on track. Awaiting your reply.-Garry Damrau(talk) 06:21, January 25, 2014 (UTC)

Hello Garry! Sorry for the late reply but I have limited access to a computer at the moment but hopefully that will soon be rectified :)
Yes, I would be more than happy to join you in volunteering for adminship. Once again this has come out from the recognition of the great work that Enodoc has done trying to keep this place afloat all these years before we (the more recent Fable Answers community) were able to help out. I unfortunately have a limited knowledge of adminship as I have not been one myself on any of the wikis I edit. However, should I be granted this privilege along with you then I will put all my effort to "step up to the plate" and offer all I can to help. I too would appreciate your knowledge and skill and being able to learn so much more from Wikia. Let me know what our next course of action is. -WikiaWizard (talk) 21:00, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
The next step is done. I let E know we're ready.-Garry Damrau(talk) 23:15, January 30, 2014 (UTC)

The Graduation Ceremony Edit

Guild Seal Silver

For many years now, you have worked hard to earn yourselves the title of Admin. Today, that apprenticeship ends, and you go out into the wiki to do great deeds. Deeds that will bring you the gratitude of thousands, or strike fear into their hearts. These are dark times. The players of Anniversary are stirring, and strange Hamsters are blowing. Your choices, whether they lead you down the path of good or evil, will change the face of the wiki. Now, take your Guild Seals and adventure forth, as Admins!

Enodoc(Talk) 20:15, January 31, 2014 (UTC)

Wow! Thank you very much for this great honor. It has indeed been quite and journey and yet it feels like just the start of a completely new one. Players, hamsters, chickens.... I'll take them all on! Thank you again and I look forward to all of us working together here as Admins :) WikiaWizard (talk) 20:22, January 31, 2014 (UTC)

Anniversary on PC Edit

The reason we are getting so many questions about inventory is due to the release of Fable Anniversary on PC. I have asked a friend, who plays the PC version, to come and help us out on this subject. Funny thing is that Lionhead has added more ability to remap the keyboard and mouse buttons, so we really can't give a definitive answer for what keys must be pushed. I am adding categories to those type of questions so they will be easier to find when we learn the answer. Garry Damrau(talk) 08:58, September 17, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the message GD. I was really beginning to wonder where they were coming from. Hopefully we'll be able to answer them sometime soon. --WikiaWizard (talk) 21:27, September 18, 2014 (UTC)
I'm going to try and find out from Matthew some time whether they published a manual online for Anniversary on PC, then we can refer to that like we do for all previous questions on controls. Quite often they do, but I can't find any link for it. You guys are welcome to talk to anyone you know (inc. LH if you like) and see if you can find out as well. --Enodoc(Talk) 08:25, September 19, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the help. It's getting hard to keep up and still attend to other obligations. BTW read the answer to How do i sleep with grope. I guess you haven't played TLC or Anniversary lately or you would have surely remembered the owner of the Darkwood Bordello.-Garry Damrau(talk) 05:37, June 17, 2015 (UTC)

No problem. It's the same over here but I came back to try and get those unanswered questions down to a minimum. I have read your answer and funnily enough I answered that question just a couple of hours before playing the game and then meeting Grope for the first time! Thanks for the save. If you need any extra help and I'm away then feel free to message me and I'll get here ASAP :) --12:38, June 17, 2015 (UTC)

Crime Edit

FYI It is possible to be robbed in Fable II and Fable III. When you have sex with a whore/prostitute there is approximately a 5%-10% chance that it will say "You've been robbed" after the black screen. I forget the amount because I usually quit and reload. It seems to happen more regularly if you are neutral or just friends with them. -Garry Damrau(talk) 07:42, July 28, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks GD for the assistance. I wondered where they got the idea from but I guess it was just me. Never tried so I had no idea it even existed :P --WikiaWizard (talk) 14:53, July 29, 2015 (UTC)
